Editorial policy
Our editorial standard is to connect each page with a homeowner's decision and make the evidence behind material claims inspectable. A hardness measurement, usable grain capacity, peak-flow rating, and installation quote answer different questions. Content should preserve those differences instead of combining them into a confident product recommendation.
Source facts at the right level
Government and university materials support general water-quality explanations. Standards bodies and certification listings support the stated scope of a standard or an exact listed claim. Manufacturer manuals support model-specific settings, capacities, installation limits, and service procedures. Manufacturer sales language is treated as a seller's claim rather than independent comparative proof.
A brand name or control valve does not prove that every assembled system has the same certification. The NSF/ANSI 44 guide explains why buyers should verify the exact model. Primary sources can disagree or change; a source link does not remove the need to examine its scope.
AI assistance and product comparisons
AI assisted research, synthesis, and drafting of the launch material. The site does not claim hands-on testing, laboratory analysis, installer credentials, or a professional sign-off that was not performed. “Best” pages are selection frameworks based on disclosed needs and researched information, not a tested performance leaderboard.
Editorial assumptions are labeled explicitly. The cost calculator contains budget scenarios, not a price survey. The methodology records the distinction between such allowances and sourced technical premises.
Commercial disclosures and revisions
Any future compensated placement or commission-bearing link should be identified where readers encounter it. Commercial relationships must not serve as evidence of performance, certification, or universal suitability. This policy does not imply an undisclosed relationship with a named brand.
Substantive revisions should recheck the affected claim and update its review date. That date records an editorial check, not continuous monitoring or fresh hands-on testing. The publication offers no public email or direct submission channel; see contact availability. Source and evidence limits remain visible even when a page has completed its launch review.
